It seems that magic varies greatly from world to world. Is it a magic everyone can use, or is it limited to a few, or is it just something that keeps everything functioning? Rituals, or words, or just a wave of the hands?

There are many types and systems of magic, each of which has its own rules and requirements. All, however, require the user to have some sort of innate aptitude or power.
