That happened to me a while back. I was just toying with the idea of getting my belly button pierced when there was an sudden epidemic of trendy tarts getting it done. So I put it off for a few years then thought "oh sod it". Now, of course, every 13-year-old and their dog has a pierced belly button so I suppose I'm accidentally trendy whether I like it or not.
