I actually managed to sit down and make a dress the other day. I was quite proud of myself! It took me about 2 hours of concentrated effort, but it turned out rather nice.
It also cheered me up in two ways - by reassuring me that I haven't lost my sewing skills, and by giving me a finished product that makes me look awesome.

Oooooh. I'm envious of your sewing skills! I have none, as I don't have the temperament for the more technical and precise arts, but I'd love to be able to make clothes that actually suit my shape, rather than making do with what other people decide to put in the shops!

Also, well done for achieving something with your busy, bub-focused life!
