i hate being mediocre at things, especially if its my passion.maybe i should just give up with music alltogether.its not just music, i hate not being exceptionally good in something.i think im just negative but after 4 years of playing bass , then hearing people play for a couple of months sound as good as if not better than me, is really pissing

you worry way too much, hun. 1. you are really, really good at bass and you'll only get better if you keep working on it. 2. you are far more talented than the majority of people in the world. 3. who cares if someone surpasses your abilities at bass? if it's your passion, do it! :)
