Cranky.

I'm feeling a little cranky right now. Because for whatever reason, WoW has been lagging miserably for me, for the past 2-3 weeks. I'll have 5 minutes of clear sailing, then 5 minutes of crippling lag. I mean CRIPPLING lag. As in 1-3 frames per second or less. For 5-6 minutes, then the process repeats itself ( Read more... )

I can't really help you, since I'm really not all that great with technical junk, but I have a few suggestions.

See if you can upgrade your video drivers. I assume you can find them on Microsoft's main window's update page. (They don't like firefox, so you'll need to use explorer...)

I'm not sure if this will help any, but try disabling Quest Helper. My game tells me it is the most memory user, using 10 - 15 MB.

Also, the only time I ever get horrible lag is when I ask Nortons to do anything, but even then I don't like the idea of being without protection. The only way I can get it to stop lagging after messing with Nortons is to restart... >_>

It's weird, but... for the first time ever, I can say I'm genuinely not interested in any of the systems out now. Their games with set characters with set abilities and appearances with set names(most of the time), following a set storyline to one set ending. :P ( ... )
