here's rant on the tacoma scene. because its practically home. olympia and seattle, while near and dear to my heart, are small 15-30 minute commutes to not call my own.

okay, i loved the tacoma scene as a high schooler. it wasn't the best, but it had hidden gems. there was at least one decent concert/show to go to during the weekend in the area, and

I should have guessed this would be held at the Viaduct. And yeah.... Impact had more diversity at one point as well, but that's been primarily hardcore for the last couple years.

Kids have been going to see hardcore though. The indie shows... not so much. It's a demographical change more than anything it seems.

yeah, i figured it was demographics. maybe...it will change because of seattle's skyrocketing cost of living...hopefully everyone will just move south.
