Full Name: Aiden Burn
Age: 25
Fandom: CSI:NY
Who is she?
Aiden grew up in Red Hook, Brooklyn and definitely knows how to take care of herself. A CSI in New York, Aiden worked under Detective Mac Taylor until due to her emotional involvement in a serial rape case she considered tampering with evidence in order to get the guilty party convicted. She was fired because Mac felt he could no longer trust her.
This case still haunts her, and canonically she gives her life to get D.J. Pratt put away. Except that hasn't happened yet. I've taken her from the beginning of season two, after her dismissal but before her murder.
What's she like?
Aiden is a slim brunette, about twenty-five years old and standing at about 5'7" tall. She's sassy, outspoken and streetwise, and if she doesn't like something you're sure as hell going to know about it. She holds herself with confidence, and can seem like she fits in just about anywhere, a trait which comes in handy in her new line of work.
She has a fairly prominent Brooklyn accent, something which characters who speak to her will probably notice.
Aiden is a New Yorker through and through, so living in a little place like Fandom is going to take a bit of getting used to, quite apart from the gremlins and magic.
Where does she live?
Over in #18 Apocalypse Avenue along with Hawkeye Pierce, Jarod, Josh Lyman, Mary Poppins, Yomiko Readman and Sakura Nishihori.
What does she do?
At the moment, not a lot. She's still working the place out and is in the process of setting up her business.
And that business of hers?
Is over at #32 Apocalypse Ave, just a couple of doors down from where she lives.
She's a PI, not that she actually has a licence yet, but this is Fandom and she is working on it. AB Investigative Services will however be up and running despite that.
As well as being there to run background checks, stake out apartments, bug people and generally do assorted sneaky and investigative things. She'll also happily rent you her bugging microphones, cell phone interceptors, tracking devices and other such nifty gadgets should they be needed.
She's getting some work sent her way by Danny Messer, which is tiding her over, but due to her lack of steady income, she'll take pretty much any job that someone will actually pay her to do. Seriously. She's not picky.
