I've been meaning to translate another RENTRER EN SOI song, and since I couldn't really decide on which one (as practically I 'want' to translate them all one day w) I really made it random.
Incidentally it's one of the first songs I've heard by them. I just happen to have made a little re-discovery with this particular song.
I don't have booklets to this album at hand, however the source I got the kanji from so far was very reliable with their RES lyrics. They should be correct. Romaji and translation is done by me, as usual. Notes are at the end of the post.
Note that there's a lot of katakana in this song, I made those parts be in CAPS in the romaji and translation part. Everything that is not in CAPS in the parts with CAPS is written as kanji in the original lyrics.
Please don't repost without linking back to this post thanks ♪

notes
[1] The word he uses for 'repentance/confession' is a (bud.) religious term
[2] A creation of a 'sense of touch' that is secret
[3] This could be a question directed at himself by himself, or by somebody else. It's not specified.
[4] This 'give' here and later is one a little more humble than a usual 'give', as in 'bestow... upon me'.
[5] Also here, direction is not specified. It could be "so that I...", it could also be "so that you...".
[6] Read this 'it is my wish' with a feeling of "I beg you please"
[7] lit. 'pupils', not eyes. Also [see 4]
(1) The kanji he uses for the numbers are classical ones. These days they are mostly being used in official documents, or simply to make things 'prettier'.
(2) Usually you would write kurushii in a way that only shii is in kana. This could be a mistake, but in case it isn't, it looks a little as if he'd taken the "pure" kanji 苦 -ku- with all its symbolical and spiritual meanings ("anguish", basically) and made it into an adjective. Maybe.
(3) Written riyuu, sung wake. Lyricists do that at times. The two words are pretty much alike, however wake has this connotation of 'meaning', whereas riyuu is more a 'reason/pretext...' I went with the sung version for the translation.

Lots of notes. 8'3 that's how I like Satsuki's lyrics
I guess I can only say over and over again how fascinating I find his view on the world to be. I'm glad he continues showing it to the world, even though it is embedded in music different from RES' beauty.
