Appearance: Tall, raven black hair half way down her back and 'deathly-white' pale skin. Basically, her skin is unnaturally pale (Abhorsen's asume it is a side effect from walking in Death). Her eyes are also blackish brown. Her right hand is also missing, and in it's place is a charter-golden hand: it looks like a normal hand from a distance, but close up it's clear it's actually made up of hundreds of Charter marks. Lirael also has an odd shaped mark on her forehead, which is basically her charter mark which links her to the Charter. To anyone who does not have a sense of magic it's just an odd shape on her forehead.

Combat skills: Lirael used to ditch field combat as a child, so she isn't a brilliant sword fighter. She can, however, use a bow well after practicing with blunt arrows for many hours in the library. Her Charter magic is unrivalled: she has a vast knowledge of spells and a spell for every occasion, and she even accidently spoke a Master Mark without protection, which she lived through. She also has her bells, which, even though they are for binding the dead, some of them can be used for lesser purposes. Ranna, for example, could put a bunch of rowdy people to sleep.

For the unknowning, Abhorsen's (and Abhorsen's-In-Waiting) have a set of seven bells that do different things. Here is a list of what each one does;
Ranna: the sleepbringer. The first and smallest bell. Weak, but 'holds tightly when she must'.
Mosrael: the waker. The second bell, a harsh rowdy bell, that brings the listener into life but throws the ringer further into Death.
Kibeth: the walker. A difficult and contrary bell. Freedom could be granted to one dead, or make them walk through the gate.
Dyrim: a voice. The voice could be given to the dead that was so often lost. Or, could still a tongue that moved too freely.
Belgaer: the thinking bell that seeks to ring alone. It can restore thought, memory, and all patterns of a living person. Or, slipping into carlessness, erase them.
Saraneth: the binder. The deepest and lowest bell, and favoured by the Abhorsens. It is the sound of strength, and shackles the dead to the wielder's will.
Astrael: the sorrowful. The banisher, the final bell. It cast everyone far into death. Everyone, including the ringer (Obviously, Lirael is not going to ring this one).

Other skills: Essentially, she is a quick study. She learns things pretty quickly. She can adapt pretty well and look after herself. Despite some thinking she would be codelled from living in a glacier all her life, Lirael doesn't mind spending time out in the open or having to live rough, so to speak. As part of the Abhorsen family tree, she also has an acute sense of Death. If there's a Dead thing, she can sense it.

What are your thoughts on...
Romance? As a mun, I am quite open to the idea, but do ask me first. Hugging is fine, kissing, you'd probably want to ask first. As for Lirael herself, she probably has a very slight crush on Nicholas Sayre (she is embarassed around him), but due to the fact she never really understood romance/men in general, she doesn't understand those or any other romantic feelings.
Non Death Call death? For now, no. I might change my mind on this.
Serious injury? Anything as long as it can be healed within a couple of weeks: bruised bones, etc. Nothing permenant unless it's cleared up with me beforehand.
