So my story goes through the ringer at workshop. It was the first time that I went in thinking I had written a good story, and had it totally trashed. That was the one constant I had in my writing life; I knew when I got the message thorugh, and which ones sucked

you're an amazing writer. your creativity is astounding, your words have a beautiful flow, and you need to see these things about yourself. i've never read any of your longer works, but i'm sure they're great. who gives a fuck if your story got trashed, you have to remember that not every piece is liked by all people... and have some confidence =) i know it sounds cheesy, but we're all beautiful people in our own ways
