The door edges open just a crack. It's not enough to see anything, though it is a darkened room outside the door. Sound comes through, though, shouts and the noise of a scuffle.
"I need security and I need it here right now! It's this lot..."
"Don't you touch him! Leave him alone!"
The sound of something large and heavy being dropped unceremoniously on a hard floor.
"You killed her! Your stupid freaking game show killed her!"
"Sir, I'm arresting you under Private Legislation Sixteen of the Game Station Syndicate."
The voices continue, reading off rights and penalties and so on, as footsteps move the voices closer, toward the door...
It opens fully, and the Doctor and Jack are standing in the doorway, each held by a man in a security guard's uniform. Both guards seem stunned by the presence of the Inn, and Jack doesn't hesitate a second before reacting, jamming his elbow into one and shoving him backwards, yanking the other away from the Doctor, shouldering the near-catatonic Doctor through the open doorway and pulling it shut quickly behind them.
The door obligingly locks the instant Jack's got it closed, and he stares at it for a second before turning around to look at the Inn. He hasn't ever seen this place before, but of one thing he's certain - it's absolutely not on the Game Station.
"Where the hell are we?"
((OOC: The Doctor's in from his usual timeline - Jack, however, is coming in from considerably earlier, several hours before his first appearance in the Inn. He doesn't know anyone he's met here yet, and will forget this ever happened when he leaves the Inn, thanks to the TARDIS.))
