Wow, I totally forgot that Dimebag was shot on the same day. It doesn't seem like it's been a year at all... I remember watching the news reports so clearly still. Another great tragedy, a soul that'll always be missed. \m/

I clearly remember watching the news report too. My friend Melisa called the following morning and told me what had happened, and I thougth she was kidding. I remember telling her "That is not funny, Melisa." Because I really, really adore Pantera and Dimebag, not only as a guitarist, but as a person.
And I turned on the news to see if it was true, and there it was.
I actually was sitting there on the phone, crying.
And it still hasn't completely sunk in that he's not with us any longer. It doesn't seem like it's been a year at all.

God, I forgot about the Dimebag's anniversary...I remembered Lennon, though... Our band director played, "Imagine" on piano today and I almost had a fit... Why are such talented and beautiful people taken away? :'(

The 8th was a very emotional day for me. It's such a shame that such beautiful people are snatched from us.
