Pull the blinds closed and get a nice cool compress for your head. Sorry to meet a fellow sufferer. I thought the last one I had was going to get me!

I spent about about 15 hours in the dark yesterday, without even music, which is RARER than the migraines themselves.

Light, sound, and omfg scent were enough to make me want to choke someone. I'm better today but i can't say its _gone_.

I know what you mean. Some scents are sometimes enough to set me off, and can really aggravate a migraine once I've got one. The same with lights and sounds, esp. repetitive, irritating sounds. I remember when I was younger and had a bad one at my aunt's and had to listen to my brother playing pac-man, and the music going over and over. I think he finally stopped when I began puking. :-/ Give yourself some time to get over it so it doesn't come back!

I knew it was bad when i went into the grocery store and couldn't make it more than five feet through the handsoap/shampoo isle. Needless to day i gave the dishsoap, laundry detergent, and general cleaning stuff a wide berth.
