[His communicator can be heard being dragged across a floor. There's wheezing in the background, but it seems muffled. There's a pause, then a clatter as Aqualad drops the comm on the floor. He lets out a frustrated grunt, tries again, and succeeds. The poor guy's voice voice is strained and raspy when he finally manages to talk.]

[Aqualad slumps against Jackie. He doesn't want to worry him, but things are starting to look pretty grim. But... as long as Jackie has his dark water, he's not going to give up hope that things will turn out alright.]
