I have been enjoying this series so much. I am so happy each time you post a new chapter. There is so much subtlety, tenderness and love described. The situations are real, the characters believable and you address some very important points of that relationship and the relationships between Sharon, Brenda and the rest of the family. It is delicate, thoughtful, and it brings me great comfort to think that you have described so well the psychology of the characters.

I loved the meeting of Brenda Lee and Sharon's father! It was also entertaining for him to shoo her out the door before Sharon's mother woke up!
So, Sharon is going to be depressed and irritable over more chemotherapy? Does that mean she's going to put up a fight with Brenda Lee about a relationship?
I'll be looking forward to your next chapter!

I'm not sure what she's going to do with Brenda Leigh quite yet...who knows! Perhaps she will keep fighting her, but I hope for the sake of this story and reviewers like you and myself that she'll give in soon. I think they're close. Real close!

Hmmm. Given Brenda's demonstrated naivete about the Evil Weed, I wonder what she's going to make of it if Sharon takes the prescription.

And then again, wouldn't it be beautiful if one of her boys caught her picking up Sharon's weed?

Sharon's parents are beautiful characters, and the story is simply a delight. Thank you so much for posting more of it.
