But seriously, public schools are open to anyone (ie the entire unmotivated population that just wants to graduate). I hardly think that a school that is essentially limited to motivated, high achieving students is comparable to schools that are forced to admit anyone within the school's boundaries. Really, that was just a poor comparison. I'm not ragging on Brophy by any means. You go to a good school, so congrats. But all you've pointed out is that MPS have more idiots than a high-quality, selective private school. Well... yeah!
