ok, i don't get it...Jill and i are friends but i feel like she has absolutly no faith in me. I first brought up the topic of mars to Jill and she said "it won't work" so then i mentioned i was working on INFO with Jill to Roland and he's like "bring it to me" and he said "i like it but what we need to decide is this this and this" so we outlined ( Read more... )

I feel you. It was kinda the same way with me. I felt like I was getting it way more than anyone else. But she will be less pissed at you than she was at me. Cuz you are getting your shit together early. So just stick with it dude. She just wants you to be the best you can. Wow that is so cliche.

hey dude... i feel ya... but she doesnt even TALK to me... so at least you are getting SOMEWHERE... keep up the good work, the coaches are tough, but only because they see potential... wow, more cliches...

jill expects from you, what she expects of herself.. and she does it to everyone... Jill doesntreally play favorites... if you work hard it doesnt go unnoticed, but like a coach saying at halftime."greta game"... jill won't give you any satisfaction, until a gold at nats is yours.... She likes to play ball... just dont take it personally... my first year team. she and i had an extremely adversarial relationship.... but as I learned what she said wasn't a personal attack... but harsh constructive criticism. I realized she wanted only best for everyone on the team... so when she bitches, or it seems like things are extra hard for you..... just remember they are generally like that for everyone... whether you see it or not... just keep working hard.... gold at nats..... man theres nothing like it....

Also something else i just remembered, as long as she doesn't yell at you to get the fuck out and don't come back till you are memorized you are ahead of me.

jillers has different approaches to motivating everyone...Me for example she will rip me a new asshole cause she knows that will make me more motivated to get out there and prove her wrong...it just does..there are others who were on the team last year who i saw her take a more docile like you can do it chin up sort of encouragement and that worked for them. you are a ball buster mike and you tell it how it is..dont expect the queen of NO BULLSHIT..to do it any different. I took silver at nats last year in the event that was truly "jill and my event" or atleast it was for me out of all my others...and i will say that she was proud but she didnt give me any satisfaction..she saw me get soo close to the gold that she knows how bad i want it this year...push yourself mike push yourself harder than she does and if all esle fails atleast you gained her respect (as a competitor) if thats what you are worried about. but i can honestly say there was no prouder moment for me than giving my PROSE to jill, maliabeth, katy, katie, and paul and ( ... )
