I know what you mean. Break-ups are in. I'm experiencing one myself. Really bums me out.

that sucks, but i in some ways it seems like it would be alot easier to go through the break up and then not have anything to stress over next year you know? Anyway i really miss talking to you and what not

I think that may be part of it. If you're dumped now, you have the summer to get over it, like your other friend here said. And the summer is full of the warm "romantic" weather, as you put it. I myself had to experience a confusing breakup with no reason given to me, despite my best efforts, and I was forced to get over it during the summer. I didn't really do a good job of that though, unfortunately, and it took me another several months before it was completely gone. And then lo and behold she came back, telling me she wanted me back, after I had smothered every last ounce of feelings for her. What an annoying shame. All in all, I think there's just really no GOOD time to have a break up. But that's just me I guess.

It is in the air.
But in a way, i'd rather it be now than later. Atleast this way, we have th rest of the year when our grades don't really make that much of a difference anymore and the summer to "recover." Then we get to start over fresh again for college. Atleast that's me trying to be posotive. It still hurts though. It just seems like.. i don't know.. a waste of time and a waste of yourself. Or maybe that's because i expected too much? I don't know. boys are ridiculous. everyone is breaking up these days. I'm sort of thankful im not the only one having to deal with it. I hope things work out for you-- whatever that may mean. You'll do what's right. You're a smart girl.
