Stargate SG-1 BigBang 2011: "Beloved" graphics
This is my graphic entry for the stargate_summer 2011.

SUMMARY: Hathor is gone. The Earth is safe. But the victory has come with a painful price for the men of the SGC. Though Hathor no longer controls their minds, her drugs aren't letting them go without a fight. As if the physical damage she did wasn't enough, withdrawal manipulates their emotions, amplifying the most extreme. Jack and Daniel fight to to deal with their experiences at Hathor's hands, while one of them turns on the one he's sworn to protect, and the other turns on himself. But Hathor didn't leave empty-handed, and she'll stop at nothing to regain control of what she left behind.
WARNINGS: Dark themes, language, violence, torture, attempted suicide, attempted rape. Canon mind control and drugging, canon rape. We all know what happened to Daniel during "Hathor" - it should go without saying that this will deal with some incredibly sensitive issues. Bear that in mind before you read it, please.

As soon as I read the name "Hathor" in the summary, I knew I just had to try to bag it. Everything around "Hathor" is one of my all time favorite SG-1 storylines. After the authors have been revealed, I was *squee* because I adore everything by brihana25, especially her videos.
I guess it`s save to say: I`m a happy camper, have been all along the way ;D
This story, written by brihana, is one of the best SG-1 fictions I`ve ever read, although I`ve *only* got an unfinished draft to work with (I can`t wait to read the final version!). If she´s been able to continue how she started it, I`m sure it´s going to be just awesome.
Because of all of this I`ve been trying my best to do the story justice. What I didn´t get around to do is a video/trailer. Plan was to do so, but for several reasons I didn`t get one done at the end (SORRY!)
But, I`ve done several graphics:
First of all, the cover. For the first cover I`ve been playing around with some pictures, and settings. While doing so I thought why not try to do different from what I do on a regular base (for a change). This is the result of me, trying to do different.

The 2nd cover is (more or less) done the way I use to do. I`ve tried to capture some of the feelings I had while reading the ficion with this cover, without turning it into a plain and simple wallpaper.

For the next graphics, stills and animated, I`ve used scenes which I would have used also for a video/trailer. Instead of doing a simple animation, I`ve done a mix between anis and stills for all of these.

Last: these are three screencaps I`ve picked at first for the cover, for me to figure out how I wanna get the cover done. At the end I used only one picture for the cover. But since all have been done, colors aso., I`ve decided to add them anyway.
I used quotes from "Beloved" to go along with these pictures.
And with this my neverending entry comes to an end.

This year was my first year for the stargate_summer, and like said above, I managed to score, all long the way ;D
