Today I was asked to be a part of a Board of Directors of a Church. I was humbled how the heck does a 22 year old get on a board? I am not worthy to be on this board I am this tiny creature who knows nothing! I don't have accomplishments to my name I don't have money to pour in. I am a sin filled man I have several planks in my eyes how do I

From my ecperience of board of directors- they need you. The ones I've come in contaact with are filled with men who habe no clue how a church should really be run- they don't know the heart of God. ALl they know is the world and how it works. I think you are very well qualified for the job. It shouldn't be about money or age- It should be about the quality of your relationship with Christ and your ability to do good work in a church. Unfortunatly it is too often about age, wealth, and worldly sucess. I pray that you would see past the world's norm of what a member of a board of directors should be- and see if this is God's will for you. Maybe He sees the church's need for soemone who will follow God's will not the people's. That's just one reason why God might want you there- I don't know the church, but God does. Don't have such little doubt in God's ability to do good work through you. Or need I read 1st Timothy 4:12 to you???? (In Timothy Paul also talks about deacons and overseers in the church.)
