It takes a while to make it out to Star City, but by the time Hal gets there, his mood hasn't improved. Not even a little. Considering the Flash actually slowed down, making an effort to be sociable along the way, and got only silence for his trouble, his attitude isn't much better by the time they reach Star City's harbor ( Read more... )

Well, lookie here. It's that Justice League everyone's been talking about.

"What's the matter? Lose a contact?"

Green Arrow, of course, headed this way as soon as he heard of a disturbance in his city. Speedy's off... somewhere. Probably following up those stories of Big Game returning. He'll catch up later.

Meanwhile he wanted to making sure the big scary superheroes didn't break anything. Which is why he's leaning casually against a rock on Star City's beach, watching them at work like three gorillas tryinbg to find a needle using a hammer.

Really, you'd think Lantern would have the smarts to remember that. The guy always looks smart in the news coverage.

...just because he's there. Not because he wants to hang out with the Justice League or anything.

Figures. They get stiffed by Superman, but every other amateur hero can't wait to jump on board.

"Sure," GL says, already turning away to get back to the search. "Why don't you fire your 'meteor detection arrow'?"
