It's easy to give and take life, isn't it? [a sigh]
This whole week made me realize how much I miss Marlene and Denzel. As much as I want to see them, I know that this place isn't somewhere they should be. They're a whole lot safe back home. They're with Tifa and the others.
[a long pause and a couple pen taps of thought] At least I'll be able to get some decent sleep now. Won't have to worry too much about Kadaj attempting to strangle me in my sleep or anything. And he gone back to his room. I just realized.
Taking care of three kids is hard work.
But I've got to give Tifa credit 'cause I honestly don't have a clue how she handles Denzel and Marlene half the time. Those kids can be such a pain. But I still... I love them both. At least they're good, decent kids.
They better stay that way.
