Nope, because there was another vehicle (hit-and-run), neither of us are at fault, which means that our separate insurance is supposed to take care of our own cars.

I hate bastards like that. There is NO excuse EVER to just hit someone and run. Obviously they were scared of SOMETHING!!!!!

yeah..one of those bastards killed my grandpa...he just walked across the street to get his mail...never made it all the way back. It makes you think why they run. And why it even happened. cellphone, suspended license, scared, irresponsible, lack of care, passengers, etc.
there really is no excuse. but it makes you think.
