a friend of mine just cheated on his girlfriend and thinks that it`s "best for the both of them" if he doesn`t tell her. i think that`s bullshit. what the fuck is a relationship if there is no honesty and trust, and who wants to be with someone who lies to them.

Yeah, I don't understand that either. I'd want to know if the person I'm dating is fucking around. Personally, I think not telling them just to "spare their feelings" is a bullshit excuse.

If it's a drunken kiss at a party then I don't think it's necessary to tell/be told. But, if it's emotional cheating like falling for someone else then I think it shouldn't remain a secret.

Sex is different...I'd want to know if my bf had sex with another girl; drunken or otherwise.

when I was a freshman, i cheated on my boyfriend. I told him. We stayed togehter.
if I get cheated on, I would like to know, because then that means that they don't like me as much as they think they do/should be in a relationship with me.
But sometimes, I think shit happens, and all my anwsers to this proably dont make sense.

i'm a chicken, and even though i know we wouldn't break up, i'd never want to hurt him because i made a mistake, especially if it was a drunken mistake. but, i'd like to know if he screwed up, and i know he has more balls than i do.
