a few random observations
people are really risk averse in this culture. they tend not to go swimming in anything deeper than waste-deep water, and there are bars on doors that could keep cops out for a good while. haven't really seen much in the way of police at all, other than traffic cops on the highway. the only sirens i've heard since i've been here have been ( Read more... ) -

Holy fucksticks. I'm finally adjusting to the time change, got up around five this morning to stretch and wander around. Chris, an artist from sactown, has been helping me orient myself to the area.
