I'm with you. There are so many better things to spend your money on than a $100 pair of pants. you can look perfectly fine w/o spending rediculous amounts of money on clothes. There are a few things that look good at the store, and it's okay to splurge a bit now and then but this goes for all major clothing stores, it's pointless and worthless to spend rediculous amounts of money on these things. Go do something creative, make some of your own clothes or something. I also have a problem with a store that is "Against the mainstream" but is making profits on the illusion that Hot Topic is not mainstream when it is totally corporate and exploiting people just like a million other large stores that are telling us what is cool.
