Wow, that was an awesome write up!!

How long did it take from beginning to end? I don't think I've ever really thought about this. Almost makes me want to do it.

But not really. Ha!

It took me a little under four hours, which is a really long time for a half, mainly because I walked more than half of it. It worked out to about a 17-minute mile; my goal is to get down to 13 minute miles for the full marathon in January.

The whole thing was so much more fun than I expected, and that has everything to do with the people of this city. I've been saying that I'll never run again after the full marathon in January unless someone's chasing me, but now that's not true. I will definitely do the Baltimore half again.

Yes, but how was the Almond Smash?

...No, but really, I am so proud of you. I hope you're recovering okay. Also, this post made me totally homesick.

I am crying as I type this, and I'm totally serious. This just moved me so much!

I'm proud of you, and the eloquence with which you told your story made me miss you and the ragtag fugitive fleet that is Baltimore.

This account should be published.

I think I'm gay for you now.
