If being the main character were all about sex appeal, how do you explain there being like ten shounen manga with female protagonists? It can help if employed properly, but the real secret of screentime is being well-rounded due to a lot of endearing personality quirks, and I've got a million of 'em!

First of all, fanservice is integral to any successful series. Second of all, my pinky finger has more endearing personality quirks than you!

Fanservice doesn't have to come from the main character at all! Hell, if it does, the series or game usually draws criticism for being more about cheap, repetitive boob jokes than any actual substance.

More importantly, what have you got going for you in the personality department? You're hyperactive and make a few vague pop culture references? HA! I'm a dozen times deeper than you!

But, people have been saying they're going to get out of here for a really long while. I mean, don't get me wrong, I really want to go back to my world and all, but how would we even start?

There are lots of ways we could go about that, but my personal plan was to go on a small adventure for a deceptively humble goal that would segue into the main plot at the last minute.
