Voice Post § 001 § "When the symptoms aren't worse than the cure"

*ahem*

So, as some of you have probably figured out, I have... a mild case of OCD related to symmetry. And since there are certain things here that I am powerless to fix like the castle... or that woman's garish outfit... a friend of mine suggested that I write some poetry whenever it got too bad. But... it's not going as well as I would have hoped.

artistic endeavors, ilu symmetry, kid fails at life, voice post, are you down with ocd?

Ah, thank you~! Your help is much appreciated. Even though... hmmm. How to make that work with this 'theme'...

Acknowledged.

There are not many words that sound like 'orange'. I am sure you could think of something.

You are correct, there really aren't... But yes, I'm certain I can make it work if I try hard enough.

How about lozenge?

That... could work. Though, the context is spotty...

In any case, I appreciate your input.

No problem~ Any idea about what you're going to write about?

Ah... well, I know what I can't write about, and what I am writing about, but as for what I should be writing about... not as such, no. *sigh*

... You should choose a different word than 'orange.'

Yes, I'm beginning to reach that conclusion myself. There are very few things that sound even remotely like 'orange', and none of them fit.

Do you mean orange, the color, or orange, the fruit?

The fruit.

I didn't think you'd be so into it, but that's great.

For subject matter, usually I'd write about the things that are important to me, like friends or school. Or maybe goals.

...I'm not so sure about a rhyme for 'orange,' though.

...Ah, yes. Well, it was a good idea. And I must say, it is distracting me, so, it works.

Yes, that's... sort of the topic now. Goals, though, that might make a decent poem.

Neither is anyone else, so far. I'm beginning to think there isn't a suitable one.

I'm glad it's helping.

Friends and school, you mean? Writing about goals... they - tend to inspire me. *laughs a little* Soul thinks it's silly, but I think it's a good topic.

I'm sure you'll think of something.

As am I. It's... hard for me to pull myself out of depression without Liz's help. And she's not here, so I can only imagine how bad it would be if I didn't have something to distract myself with.

Yes, I think it's good to write about goals. It helps you to focus on them.

My suggestion is to find another word that still embraces what you want to convey... either that or use words that end in 'nge'... such as 'challenge'.

Ah, thank you for your input, Kaname-san. I am currently inclined to agree with you about that.
