Hello! It has been yonks and yonks (last year!) since last we spoke, but I couldn't let our bonus day without at least saying hi, so hi!

How are things? I have been trying to keep up with my Flist, but I find myself spending a lot of my (admittedly limited) time in places like Twitter and Tumblr, where everything is bite-sized, but I do miss the ( Read more... )

A big HI to you. I attempted to send you a very real Christmas card, but, alas, without a current address, it was a no-go. Maybe you got the vibe, sort of like a wayward microwave?

I rarely even lurk here anymore except for end of month ketchup cruise. The times, they have a-changed and so has the community. However, I have thought of you and I hope things in the family way (all generations) are for the better.

Onward and upward and beyond the schizo!

I really do think a leap day should be a gimme day. Misguided? Not!

Wow. It does make me very sad for Patrick. I'm not into his new music, but I certainly don't wish him any harm, and I would love for him to be successful and happy.

Well, 'howdy' yourself. Says it all about my LJ life that it takes me a week to get back to things.

Can't believe it's been so long since we met in SanFran in '08, the year that changed the gambits' personal finances apparently for all time, and set in motion most unexpected changes, like a move to the big city from the piney mountains. Mantra? Change can be good, even if it isn't in the plans.

So much Southland stuff on my friends page it took a while to scroll back. I love seeing Ben, but I'm not as enthralled with the show this season. It's enough to make me miss even S3 of the OC, when at least we wrote it better on LJ....

Have I mentioned I admire you? A LOT? Difficult to deal with grumpy elderly people in poor health in small doses. Am sending all possible positive thoughts and vibes toward those long-term changes and keeping your visualization of a less 'stuck' future.
