Despite being totally steeped in Mandarin from birth, I still managed to hear "咦？ 怎麼這世界" as "itsumo 這世界", which, of course, made this song just that much depressing, haha.
Thanks for the piece! I've been out of Taiwan for a good many years now, so I didn't even know Hebe had a solo album out! Crazy. I hope it's good, she was always my favorite.
Lol, this song is just about the level of Mandarin I can understand (ie. I don't actually know Mandarin, ahahaha)
"itsumo 這世界" - that's an interesting way of hearing things! And, yeah, depressingly resigned.
I never bothered listening to the album, because I figured the songs would just blur (mainstream Chinese music has that tendency? Like, people put out albums that are 100% ballads, so I'd rather just sample 1 or 2 tracks to appreciate the experience). I adore Hebe and wouldn't want to be bored by her. XD
