Name: Artemis

Age: Somewhere in the thousands? Ancient immortal goddess.

Height: Tall!

Weight: However heavy a tall, fit, strong woman is.

Medical Info: ...Greek goddess. She can't really grow old or catch disease, but she's not at the peak of her health because hardly anyone believes in her anymore--she's showing slight signs of aging, and feeling more...human, for lack of a better word. It's implied the Greek gods didn't start developing things like pain or creakiness until they lost nearly all of their power, because they could simply will it away.

Eyes: I am using Olivia Wilde as a PB and hilariously cannot tell what colour her eyes are. Probably hazel? PALE, at any rate.

Hair: Long and dark! Often pulled back in a ponytail.

Physical traits: Artemis is canonly described as a tall, beautiful lady. People usually don't notice her looks for long because then Aphrodite appears, and she's the goddess of beauty and overshadows her! But yeah, Artemis is pretty smokin', she just doesn't flaunt it or want to. She also dresses pretty casually all the time--tracksuit and trainers are the norm.

What's Okay To Mention Around Him/Her: I think pretty much anything is good; if she can deal with multiple alternate Apollos, she can probably deal with everything else. I am taking her from right before everything goes to hell in the book, though.

Abilities: Okay, so all the gods at the point I'm taking Artemis from are severely limited in their power--they've each got a certain amount left and they try not to use it, because if they overextend themselves then all the things they're associated with will disappear. Artemis isn't as far gone as some of the others! She still mostly has her eternal youth/longevity, and she has inhuman speed, strength and hunter's reflexes without expending much effort at all. She can also sense other gods and immortals in the same area, but unlike a lot of the other divine people we've got wandering camp, she can't read minds. She can lie.

If she DOES want to waste a lot of power, she can call animals to her, pop people's souls out of their bodies, turn off the moon, turn people into trees and animals, sic wild dogs on them to tear them to pieces...et cetera. Her other limitation is that she can't undo anything another god has done, and if she's made to swear by the Styx on something, then she can't break that oath.

The more people believe in her, the stronger she gets. She was really weak when she came to camp, but she's gotten much more powerful--though still not nearly at her old level.

Notes for the Psychics/Spiritually Sensitive: You probably can't get in there because she's a goddess, weakened or not. If you try hard enough you'll feel a hint of something divine and holy that could be much, much stronger. And then RULE NUMBER FIVE MINDREADING ARTEMIS IS FORBIDDEN GET OUT. You can feel free to sense what she is, though.

She'll also ping/be pinged by people under her influence! I will...make a separate post about that.

Can I shapeshift/bodyswap/spit at/step on/etc?: ...if she doesn't get you for it Apollo might. Um. Do so at your own risk?

Hugging/kissing/other non-violent physical contact: She pretty much refuses to be touched and she's entirely able to dodge most attempts. If you are a dog you can probably sniff her hand without problems! That is about it.

Maim/Murder/Death: I am going to go ahead and say no to this, because Artemis is weak as it is and the death of a god has ~unknown repercussions~ and...yes. Apparently if she dies the least that can happen is that the moon goes out and wild animals roam all over the place and people start trying to have sex.

...which would probably just make camp funnier for awhile. But. Let's not.

Cooking: Nope. Greek gods can't and don't eat, and Aphrodite's the only one who really likes food.
