A COUPLE OF NOTES ON ARTEMIS:
1. All the gods at the point I'm taking Artemis from are severely limited in their power--they've each got a certain amount left and they try not to use it, because if they overextend themselves then all the things they're associated with will disappear. However, that power is directly related to how much belief people have in them! So Artemis is going to start off super weak in camp, but she'll likely get stronger depending on how her interactions with people go.
2. Artemis is a goddess with a direct tie to the things she's got influence on! These are: forests and hills, childbirth, chasitity, fertility, the hunt, and the moon.
3. She also seems to have some kind of draw on wild animals, as goddess of the hunt: she is particularly fond of wolves and wild dogs, is pretty good (though disappointed with) domestic dogs, and if you're some sort of prey animal you will probably get the sense that you want to keep away from her. Particularly strong/fast/cunning animals will catch her attention! Artemis loves a challenge.
So. I am going to steal Apollo's poll for awesome infogathering purposes.
WHAT ARE YOU? Human, inhuman, god, demon, etc.? Artemis can sense immortals--would she be able to sense you?
ARE YOU SPIRITUALLY/WHATEVER SENSITIVE? Can you tell she's a goddess, or that she's Artemis specifically?
DO YOU PING? Do any of the above associations/dominions apply to you, or will you otherwise catch her interest in some way? Also, ARE YOU SOMETHING SHE IS LIKELY TO WANT TO HUNT, and if so, would it be all right for her to try?
ARE YOU/DO YOU HAVE A DOG OR WOLF? I intend to try and have her do her job in camp! So would you be okay with her taking your dog for a morning run, or running with her?
