Shit needs to change!

I don't usually get into personal life stuff on here but I feel the need to for some reason. Maybe because I'm the sort of person that thrives on support? Then again, I'm sure we're all that way. Anyway...

First off, I'm ridiculously inactive. I have literally been sitting either at the computer or on my bed every day for a good 3 years now. ( Read more... )

You know, it make me feel better to know there's someone else out there who is in the kind of rut I am. I'm glad to hear you're at least trying to get stuff going. I'm just so unmotivated. My complete lack of motivation is what has always kept me from doing anything at all all my life really.

Sorry I made this about me. :)

Anyway, I hope you are able to accomplish some of this stuff. I'm sure you will. Keep us posted!

Oh, no worries. I tend to do the same thing. (Talking about something in a way I can relate.)

Anyway, thank you and I hope you can find some inspiration to do the same! It's definitely hard for people like us. I have this one friend in particular who has been very supportive and he does a lot too, so it kind of got me thinking.

Good for you! It's all about making small, doable, lifestyle changes. I'd just die if it wasn't for walking, it's the only exercise I enjoy!

Indeed. :) It certainly doesn't help that most jobs have everyone sitting down, or standing in place for a long periods of time.

Good luck! I know exactly how you feel. Before I started working I was the same. Though that's really the only thing in my life I have motivation for. I know some people that have 2 jobs and go to school full time and I just don't see how they do it...

Thanks! And seriously. I had 2 jobs for a month and it wore me out.

Yay for you! Seriously, the fact that you're being active about changing your life is a good sign that changes will actually happen :).
