Yeah, I'm an earthbender, but I can bend metal, too. I'm the only earthbender who can do that.

So she bends water and you bend earth and metal... there're firebenders, too, right? What about lightning and wind?

So is this bending ability common?

I wouldn't say it's uncommon. I think it's different in all the different nations. Like, it's fairly common in the Earth Kingdom, but I think Katara was the only waterbender in her tribe.
