I try to run, but see I'm not that fast

Still feeling poorly, but it was a good Sunday.

☺ I went to see Salt with a friend. I wanted to see Inception but my friend really doesn't like sci-fi type things, and as I am never really opposed to watching AJ blow things up, so it was all good.

☺ The cinema we go to has a huge parking lot, and Sundays in the summer there is a "flea market" there ( Read more... )

fandom, here we go again, merlin, no purchase necessarry, wicked awesome flist, fic, rl, i might randomly some crazy

I saw Salt on a date, and I dunno if it was the bad date, or what, but I really didn't like the movie at all. The acting was ok, they did use this epic Polish actor, the action was packed, but I disliked the plot. Grumble!

OMG MORE PORN! *goes to read*

Oh, dear, I have no idea if it's any good, and posting it makes me nervous, but there it is anyway. Gah.

Salt was ok for me...kind of boring. Ass kicking is good, but it seems can get repetitive. After a while I was thinking "all right we get it, she's a BAMF, can we move on?"

I do like Liev Schreiber (sp?) though. He cool.

I'll see it eventually, I'm sure, even if I have to go by myself!

:) thank you and a very good night to you as well!

Ohhh I wanna see Salt! I'm hoping I can go see Inception with my BFF in a week or so. They both look soooo good. ♥__♥

Meh...Salt was fairly miss-able IMHO, so if you can only see one I'd go for Inception. Not that it was a really bad movie (it was fairly entertaining, which is all I really ask of a lazy Sunday flick) but it was something I totally could have seen small-screen. Don't let me put you off, though...AJ doing some serious ass-kicking and impossible/highly improbable spy moves is always kind of fun.

Also, there aren't enough action movies with girls in the lead, so I have to give it some love on that count.

lol I was already planning on renting it later. I don't have much cash, so I pick my theater trips wisely. P: I can't wait to rent it, though!

Haha I almost never go to the movies so I hear you....it's so expensive! The price of a matinee at a regular theater is more than the cost of a ticket used to be. Craziness.

Seriously, though...the last movie I saw in theaters was "Shutter Island" and before that it was "Inglorious Basterds". Hmm.

Salt, I wasn't really sure what it was about, and all my friends want to see dinner for Schmucks, so I'm sure that's what I'm going to be seeing next. So far I've been unable to get anyone to see Inception with me. This makes me sad because I have a soft spot for Joseph Gordon Levitt for some reason, on top of it looking like a really cool movie.

Hope you feel better. I spent the day feeling hung over yesterday, despite the fact that I did not drink nearly enough for this to logically be the case.

I know...I love Joseph Gordon Levitt too...and none of my friends here want to see Inception either, so it might be a movie date with myself. This might be weird, but I can't really get myself to spend the $ when it's just me (how sad am I?). So I want to go but won't be surprised if it passes me by!

Thanks! I hope your hangover is better this morning. But hey, at least Saturday night was good?

This probably also sounds weird, but I've only been to the movies by myself once, to see Goblet of Fire. I just had to see it in theaters and I couldn't get anyone to go with me. But I think I'd feel weird sitting there by myself. Maybe I'll go by myself during the week. I mean, who really cares?

Yeah, I feel beter. And Saturday night was good. I felt better once I had some coffee, but that wasn't until 6:30 at night, so most of the day was shot.

Erg..hangovers always do that...it's like the whole next day is gone.

You know, I've only ever been to the movies myself a few times, and it was for repeat viewings of The Sorcerer's Stone and The Fellowship of the Ring.

I guess it's not so much that I feel weird going alone, but that it's expensive these days and it's easier to justify not going if it's just me!
