OMG *hugs* I loved that rant for all its wonderful glory, as I have similar rants about mothers that are not my own too. The extra mothering would drive up the wall, and it actually does, but I get the kind of mothering that is so patronizing I'm starting to believe that I am totally 100% retarded!! Brady's mom, who loves Dominic to pieces, has since gotten much better, but would tell me how easy it was to breastfeed Ariel & Braden and how they never needed to sleep in a bassinet in the same room because they were so independent...and the constant asking about "how are you doing with the breastfeeding? are your breasts sore? are you getting enough milk to dominic"....and then once I started only bottle-feeding....and the worst of it is, she totally means well. She says all this stuff in the sweetest way possible, so that if I take it the wrong way, I feel like the jerk. ME!? Ack. But then my mom tells me the most obvious shit too "did you know that babies need food? they also need to be warm" like duh mom, fuck

Haha, i am eagerly awaiting moving day, so that I can begin snail mail wars with you and every other Canadian I know, haha XD I`ll send you my address and ask for yours once I move! XD
