HEY CIELO RAMBLE TO ME ABOUT YOUR THOUGHTS RE: CIELO'S ROLE AS THE GUY WHO SEEMED TO BE LARGELY RESPONSIBLE FOR FRED EVEN THOUGH GALE AND ROLAND WERE HIS FATHER FIGURES WHERE DID CIELO FIT THERE also a relationship meme I guess.
...ilu. OH HEY THIS WORKS FOR THE RELATIONSHIP MEME PART TOO. Except I'll probably essay more on the relationship bit more later because I'm me and therefore have to essay at length.
I basically figure Cielo was the most humanly approachable of all the Embryon! I mean, Gale's badass and awesome enough that it would probably be hard for a teenager to approach him, Roland's either drunk or a demon cannibal terrorist leader and thus busy, but Cielo's kinda the cool older brother/gay uncle figure who Fred would probably feel more comfortable around on a day-to-day basis
( ... )
I WILL LOOK FORWARD TO IT AND ALSO ENCOURAGE YOU TO TALK MORE ABOUT THE TRIBAL DYNAMICS DURING THAT PART OF THE GAME WHERE GALE WAS CARRYING SERA MOST OF THE TIME ESPECIALLY
Cielo's not quite sure what to make of Kuhn at the moment! I mean, yeah he likes him, yeah he's a comrade (or maybe more a comrade's comrade - he knows that Heat considers him a comrade and therefore he does, because that's what you do with comrades, but he doesn't feel terribly close to him, generally.)
And I mean, Cielo's not inclined to interfere in people's relationships. Loving people who're technically your enemies is honestly pretty common in the Embryon! I mean. Technically both Jinana/Argilla and Lupa/Gale were enemies, even if they refused to accept it. Gale's also in love with Angel, which you know I'm pretty sure Cielo's noticed, even if no one presses him on it. And so Cielo has lots of models for how people can fall in love with enemies! Even psychotic ones trying to destroy the world. So on that aspect of it, Cielo's inclined to butt out and figure Kuhn's an adult, he has to decide what he needs for himself. And trust him to set his priorities right. I.e. Embryon > Bat RIGHT?
...is it wrong that my reaction is actually d'aww that's so cute? No seriously I think Kuhn mafiaing scarily is adorable. And yeah, it does remind me of the Embryon! I hadn't thought of it like that

There actually are quite a lot! Short version is, Delirium's someone he'd mafia for hard.
...Long version is extremely spoilery, so be warned! [Things heavily implied, though admittedly never outright stated in canon, that I play in camp as him being aware of: Cielo is minorly psychic (mostly accurate gut feelings, honestly. Cielo remembers dying in his past life. Cielo was at the time of his death, insane.] As such, I tend to figure Delirium pings him in ways he's not fully aware of.
On the more obvious level, Cielo has a protective streak, and Delirium kinda pings him there, being obviously insane. [He was also around a lot of other insane kids in his past life, who it's implied he did his best to take care of. And all the Embryon tend to be pinged when stuff resembles their last life because of the nature of karma and how events tend to play over and over until you break free from the cycle. Or until you get eaten by a giant demon with lots of teeth, whichever.] So on that level, he's fairly drawn to take care of her
