Just as a note I am fairly random with userpics and think they are fun toys. I unabashedly gank them except when a person explicitly indicates not to. (sad to admit but sometimes I don't check) I identified this early and actually paid for the 100 userpics, though I probably only actively use 30 at any given stretch. I just like to have the variety available

It is kind of weird that there is no Wikipedia on her... I mean if I've heard of an artist you'd figure they'd have made wikipedia. Even the few obscure ones I know about probably have been added just because of the slant of wikipedia. I mean it's not like the wikipedia audience has a slight sci-fi/fant bent or anything...
I mean there was the day I looked up Dyson Sphere, and ended up clicking on links where I went to Robert Heinlein, a couple topics, Jabberwocky, couple more topics, back to Robert Heinlein... nope, no slant at all...

yeah, google has surprisingly little biography on her at all. links to art galleries and sites selling her posters, but almost nothing else - almost makes me wonder if someone / her estate is aggressively policing, sending takedowns, something like that.
