first there was the palmOS emulator. now i just found a link that indicates there will be tethered sync. both third-party apps, but still... my reasons for not getting a pre keep diminishing.

i hate phones right now. i want a nokia n97 and a pre, but neither will exist in north american GSM frequencies for months if not a year :(

yeah - i'm on sprint, so we're supposed to get them within the next couple months... but i just upgraded my phone last year, and recommitted to a new 2-year contract, so it'll be at least a year before i can get a pre without paying through the nose. i'm trying to tell myself that it'll give them a chance to work the bugs out... but it's not working.

(thebroomecloset, on the other hand, did not upgrade his phone last year, so he's going to be first in line at the sprint store come mid-may. so at least i'll get to vicariously enjoy his!)

We're definitely watching the Pre very closely. Our current two-year contact with Sprint runs out next month, so that gives us some good spending money there.

sweet. i've got a year to go, but thebroomecloset is watching the pre gossip - especially the leaked release dates - with great anticipation...
