I would have to say Blindness by Jose Saramago. I got it in eighth grade, and man. It was a tough read, but I would really reccommend it.

Well, if it makes you feel any better, college art made me realize the same thing. I can draw all day, but not so much when it's what other people want me to draw. Which is only to a certain extent, I CAN draw for others, I just struggle more. And I doubt people would want to buy my shit if it's like.. me drawing my characters, like I do rofl.

And yes, more nip/tuck rofl.

Honestly, it sort of ruined art for me. which is sad because Y still want to make art, but whenever I do my brain's always all "lol nope. not gonna let you." I loved art in high school, though. Even if sometimes we did things I didn't really care about doing I still did them above and beyond. As soon as college hit though, it just killed me. :\
