As I sit here at my internship, wondering what the hell I'm supposed to be doing (b/c I got here the same time a band went into the studio and as my boss was dealing with them, she told me that we've got to start calling people today wihtout further direction) I wonder to myself what is going on in my life

Hey girl, I just wanted to let you know that you are not a bad friend. I speak from personal experience that, often, life has more control over your time than you do. Hell, think about my last semester at CMU! I'm lucky people even remember me. Don't stress it. You'll find out that, in the end, your real friends will be only too willing to accept you back with open arms when you slow down again. Friends are friends because they do not need the constant attention and reassurances of those who wish to be your friend. Luv ya!
