I was reading LJ and someone mentioned http://del.icio.us and I became interested. You can bookmark all of the pages you want and just use that instead of memorizing all of the URLs. For me this is very nice, since it allows me to put all the pages I go to at one website, and then I just need to ( Read more... )

yay, I started a trend!

It really is a great site. I tried to get Brigitta hooked, and it didn't work (yet). But I already have 38 sites on mine and I keep trying to think of more. Cause it's so fun!

For some reason I've found that about 50% of people "get" del.icio.us and the other 50% just don't. It only took me a couple weeks to get completely, hopelessly hooked. The secret is in the tags. For me it's what some people refer to as an "outboard brain." In the past 14 months I've amassed 2,342 bookmarks though, to be fair, maybe a third of them are for work.

Yeah, there isn't any type of manual that I've found, though, so some features confuse me. For instance, how do I group tags? What are 'tags'? Stuff of that nature.
