2. Did you have a new year's resolution this year?: I'm sure I did, but I don't believe New Years is the only time for resolutions

6. Do you ski or snowboard?: I have a very hard time with ski lifts... so I tend to stay away from those sports
FEBRUARY 2008;
1. Who was your Valentine?: Mike, he's a wonderful Valentine
2. When you were little did you buy Valentine's for the whole class? Yes, I didn't like that some kids got Valentines and some kids didn't. I tried to write personal things on each one too!
3. Do you care if the groundhog sees its shadow or not?: No, but I like their little greyhound faces
4. What did you get for valentines?: A ticket to go see Romeo Dallaire. My boy knows me so well.
MARCH 2008;
1. Are you Irish?: Yes, I've got some Irish kicking around in there
2. Do you wear green every year on St. Patrick's Day?: Not everyone, but when I am doing something festive, but last St. Patrick's day I was at a Justice concert.
3. What did you do for St. Patty's Day in 2008?: I went to a Justice concert with Mike and James
4. Are you happy when winter is pretty much over?: Yeah, I get really annoyed with Winter by March.
April 2008;
1. Do you like the rain?: I like it when there is crazy lightening and thunder, makes everything more exciting
2. Did you play an April fool's joke on anyone this year?: I don't remember actually
3. Do you get tons of candy on Easter?: Sometimes, usually I just eat a lot of savory food

5. Do you "love" the month of April?: April is when exams are, but it is also when things get pretty

1. What is your favorite flower?: Daisies, simple and beautiful

JUNE 2008;
1. What did you do for Fathers Day?: Eh, father's day and I have issues
2. Did you do anything fun during this month?: I celebrated my one year anniversary with Mike on the 20th
3. Have a favorite baseball team?: um ... the jays?
JULY 2008;
1. What did you do on the 1st of July?: I... I can't remember... I think I may have been on the island and I got some yummy food with Mike at the Del Crary festival
2. Did you go to the fireworks?: Yes I believe so
3. Do you tan in the day? Accidentally as I walked around
AUGUST 2008;
1. Did you do anything special at the end of your summer?:I kind of had a bad end to the summer... but I made some really great friends
2. What was your favorite memory of summer?: My one year anniversary with Mike was amazing. Made a nice meal and went to St. Veronus. There was also the night where we rescued Segway the cat and had an amazing bonfire complete with Al's lo mein and burgers and pizza rolls.
3. Did you have a sunburn?: I do believe I got peely at some point
4. Did you go to the pool a lot?: I swam at Mike's cottage! He tried to get me to jump off the big rock... the big rock is high up so that didn't happen
SEPTEMBER 2008;
1. Do you like September?: I love it, the beginning was really brutal, but most of it was amazing!
2. Do you like fall better than summer?: It really depends, I like the weather better and I do love school, but there is something about the freedom of the summer that I can't help but miss
3. Anything special about September to you?: Many birthdays including mine!
OCTOBER 2008;
1. What was your last Halloween costume?: I had to create a last minute costume this year so I dressed up as a Young Republican. Slicked back my hair into a ponytail and made a couple pro--Republican buttons. Let's face it Republicans are scary and the children are our future.
2. What is your favorite candy?: I'm not a huge candy fan, but I love sour stuff and really really really dark chocolate
3. What is your favorite thing about this month?: I love Halloween and Thanksgiving gives me an excuse to see all my hometown friends
NOVEMBER 2008;
1. Whose house do you go to for Thanksgivings?: I spend Thanksgiving with my mom and Mike's mom and Mike's grandpa (ahem Americanized question)
2. What is your favorite thing about November?: How beautiful High Park looks when the leaves turn
DECEMBER 2008;
1. Do you celebrate Christmas?: Not religiously, more like in that 'everyone is happy and gets to spend lots of time together) way
3. Have you ever been kissed under the mistletoe?: Indeed and under random shiny objects masquerading as miseltoe
4. Get anything special last year?: Um last year I got an amazing lamp from Mike and a trip to BC from my mom.
5. What do you want this year?: I didn't know what I wanted, but I got an Ipod and Lewis Lapham's magazine, a blender and a juicer... twas awesome
Where did you begin 2008?: At Meaghan Culkeen's house
What was your status on Valentine's Day?: Happily in love
Did you have to go to the hospital?: Yes... I think it was 2008, may have been 2007... for a silly reason, but it was a Sunday, so doctor's offices were closed
Where did you go on vacation?: Mike's cottage and ahem.... nowhere really
What did you purchase that was over $500?: I paid rent... I don't spend that much on anything
Did you know anybody who got married?: That I did not
Did you move anywhere?: I moved to my apartment in High Park and in Peterborough for the summer
What sporting events did you attend?: I went to a couple Western basketball games with Mike and his roommate
What concerts/shows did you go to?: I don't know if I'm going to remember them all... Justice, Crystal Castles x2, The Von Bondies, The Walkmen, North by Northeast, Cut Copy, Stars and ahem... more that I can't remember
Describe your birthday: I went to London and Mike made me a fantastic dinner and we drank delicious wine on his fire escape. Then we went out to the Alex P. Keaton for a drink. Really relaxed, but very very happy making
What has been your favorite moment(s)?: I had one of the best nights ever at Nuit Blanche this year. Everyone was so happy and having so much fun and it seemed as though nothing could go wrong. The evening was also concluded by 6am beers and Thai food. Also I had a spectacular time this Christmas holiday!
Any new additions to your family?: Nope.
What was your best month?: October maybe... December was great too
What was your worst month?: August/beginning of September
What music will you remember 2008 by?: Cut Copy maybe...
Made new friends?: Many wonderful people
Favorite Night out?: Nuit Blanche covers that.... also the day before my birthday. I went to London spontaneously and Mike took me out for dinner and we went for drinks at midnight on my 19th. There are many others, but I've covered some of them already.
Overall, how would you rate this year?: Confusing, but then perfect other then the strike, I miss school
Other than home, where did you spend most of your time?: At Dreams of Beans, at school, Mike's home
Change your hairstyle?: Yes, I had a bob and then was growing it out, then had a bob now I'm growing it out
Do you have a New Year's resolution?: I want to start a savings account

Get arrested?: Nope, but I was there when someone else did

Did you get sick this year?: On and off. I had about three really horrible colds and had a hard time with my stomach in the summer

Are you happy to see 2008 go?: In a way, I think that it's going to be amazing
