Please be aware that Hermione was indeed hit by a dark curse. Well it was a failed attempt since none of the casters were powerful enough. Vane was on it too. I don't want Hermione to worry but I went last night to the Headmaster's and he did an aura search on me. The reason why Madam Pomfrey didn't find any black curses on her was because I absorbed it when we kissed. It wouldn't have the expected result -which, by the way was expected by Romilda not by Krum's cousin- but it would have her really unhappy for a couple of days. Prof. Dumbledore asked me not to tell Mione but you have to know. Romilda has been dealing with the black arts for quite a while and we are all at risk even Krum's cousin since he is none the wiser about the situation.
You may show this owl to Draco and Harry and it's your call to tel Hermione but no one else is to know. I'm in the infirmary in a private room recuperating for the suicidal feelings that overwhelmed me last night.
As you can see the situation is far more dangerous than we originally thought. I know everything will be alright but I'm worry about anyone getting caught in the crossfire. I'm sure you know some means of protection from dark curses. Vane is obsessed with Ron and she sees even his friends as a threat to her goal. We need to do something. I think, no, I know, she is highly unstable.
