If you can get to the bios, my best suggestion would be to reset the boot priority and get it to boot from a cd (since I'm sure it has an onboard cd-rom) or from a floppy disk if it happens to have one of those dinosaurs onboard. That way you can use a bootable XP cd to bypass all of the onboard OS, which is probably whats causing this issue.

I think my brain's kinda' swirling around in my skull with computer terminology bouncing off the insides-Absolutely no clue :( Good luck getting it fixed!!!
Mine did that. I had to reformat. If you can, try going into safe mode. The reason, was because the drivers messed up once you plugged that monitor in (at least that's what I'm assuming) And when you unplugged it, it was still looking for a driver that isn't there...
