Scared witless

Was very bad timing for the unsolicited energy company salesman to ring my doorbell at 8pm just while I was watching a documentary on my own about a serial killer who lurked the area I live in.

He scared the living daylights out of me!

I'm not usually scared, and often watch and read stuff about serial killers, but this was a bit too close to home!

I didn't even open the door. Just called out 'Who's there?' like a little nanna. LOL!

Probably a good move really - we don't take as much care as we should half the time!

I was pretty annoyed he arrived at that hour. It's Winter here and was dark. Plus my evening is my evening!

I would have probably had a heart attack. Selling at 8 pm is really too late, whether door to door or on the phone.
