This is what I know about SSRIs - it's a bad idea to go through cold turkey withdrawal from them. Can you ask your phamacist or your doctor to front you a few pills until Friday? I have had luck with that for other prescriptions in other situations. Most physicians have samples out the wazoo and will happily give them out to patients.

Seriously, do what you need to do to get your meds. You really don't want to end up stabbing yourself.

I have a call in to her now, and am hoping she has them.

If I haven't hurt myself before now, I seriously doubt I will, but it is still a weird feeling that I went through life like this for so long and didn't realize it.

Thanks for caring.

By the way, I am so happy that you have found such a wonderful man to partner your life with. I see the joy in your posts and it makes me very happy for you. You deserve the best!

there is this great company (for those without insurance) called "connection to care" provided by Phizer and they will give you medications FREE. all you need is a doctor to give you a precription. i can get you the info if you need it. there are other companies that do this as well.

love ya!

Love you too. I have insurance, it's just that I am flat broke until payday, so can't even afford the copay.

Dr. F was able to get me samples to tide me over, so I should be good.

Thanks for caring!
