Lots to do still - some buttons don't do anything yet - but it's a start. (I've been too narked and knackered to do anything with it for the last two days... All this being positive must be taking its toll! :-/ )
Indra! Oh god - yes, I saw the Booker stuff about Indra and thought "Bluddy Hell! Must get some of his stuff!" and then promptly got distracted... Thanks for reminding me!!! I'll get 'em ordered.
You still in touch with him? I emailed him about three or four years ago when I decided to let go of being connected to the CommUnity list. (Too much nostalgia can be a drain on the emotions...) Good to know there are still some of the old BBS crowd out there being relevant and creative.
Thanks for the comments about the website. Joomla's a double edged sword. I think it's going to be a great resource for developing the Radish website as a community portal, rather than a static content site as previously, but I find it a bit restricting in other ways - mainly in terms of look and feel. I'm sure it'll become more flexible to me when I get deeper into how it works (principally CSS stuff, I guess, which I'm not big on!).
Sort of still in contact. I keep an eye on his Facebook and exchanged emails a while back.
Cybergypsies, Death of Mr Love, and Animal's People are all good books, very different from each other but with an interesting perspective to each one. Definitely worth a go.
I'm not big on CSS either, though I should be as everything webby seems to be mostly CSS these days. I tend to nick other people's stuff and slightly change it for my own use.
Just had a nosey around the website, it looks great! I like how the images change when you go to different pages. It has a very nice eclectic-but-uncluttered feel to it.
