I just saw a mouse run across my kitchen floor. Logically, I have nothing against small rodents, so this event shouldn't be overly alarming. Growing up I had gerbils and guinea pigs as pets, and I've worked with mice and rats in some of my classes. So it feels odd that when the rodent in question is loose in my kitchen instead of occupying a cage
